So, I was reading the paper the other day...
Totally started off this blog with a complete lie. I never read the paper. Maybe when I'm 75 years old and enjoy a cup o' jo.
So, I walked by the paper laying on the table the other day...
I was pulled in by this really big picture.
Am I 5 years old?? Yup.
It was a picture of the kids running in our local Truffle Shuffle.
How cute, right? Kids running in support of a good cause. Their parents are out doing the real race and it's a way to get the whole family involved.
Little did I know, these things get kinda cut-throat.
Them kids don't take no guff.
If you saw the far right of the picture, you would know what I'm talking about.
Lucky for you I took a picture!
Stripped-shirt hyper kid straight clocked the red-head in the shark shirt.
That's just not right.
Funny thing is, no where in the paper did it acknowledge the fact that this was happening in the picture!
I guess this is the kind of journalism we get when living in Eugene, Oregon.
It's okay, I don't mind it too much.
Did you introduce yourself already? If not, you should!
And for now, I wish you a much better day then the red-head in the shark shirt.
